We work with children from birth through 18 years.
We provide therapy services in daycares and preschools throughout Horry County, SC and Columbus County, NC. We also see children at our Little River office and Myrtle Beach clinic locations. For families who prefer care at home, limited in-home therapy services may be available in and around Little River based on clinician availability.
Yes. We accept South Carolina Medicaid plans and private insurance plans.
The first step is reaching out by phone or email and sharing any concerns or questions you have about your child's development, communication, motor skills, feeding, or daily routines. From there, our team will guide you through the evalution, scheduling, and insurance process to help determine the best next steps for your child.
Speech Therapy focuses on communication skills, including speech sounds, language development, social communication, fluency (stuttering), feeding, and alternative communication methods such as AAC. Speech therapists help children improve how they communicate, understand language, and interact with others.
Occupational Therapy focuses on helping children participate more independently and successfully in everyday activities. This may include sensory processing, fine motor skills, handwriting, emotional regulation, coordination, feeding, play skills, and daily routines such as dressing, grooming, and self-care.
Many children benefit from both services, and our team works collaboratively to support development across all environments.
Yes. Many children benefit from both speech and occupational therapy services, as communication, sensory processing, motor skills, feeding, play, and daily routines are often closely connected. Our team works collaboratively to create individualized treatment plans that support your child's overall development across home, school, and community environments.
Sessions are play-based and built around your child’s interests and therapy goals. Structured learning is embedded into play. We use movement, games, and hands-on activities to keep sessions fun and engaging. Real-life skills are practiced to support carryover beyond the therapy room. Caregiver coaching and simple home program ideas are provided when appropriate. Effort and progress are always celebrated to build confidence and motivation.
If your child has had an evaluation within the last 6 months, we may be able to use it. Otherwise, a new evaluation may be required.
Most speech and occupational therapy sessions are 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your child's individual needs, goals, and attention span. Many families attend 1 to 2 times per week, and scheduling recommendations are individualized based on evalutation results, therapist recommendations, and your family's routine.
Yes. Collaboration and an interdisciplinary approach are extremely important to our team. We work closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, early intervention providers, and other professionals to support carryover across environments and help children succeed in everyday routines. Open communication, shared goals, and teamwork are a central part of our therapy approach.
